Lucky Shot Gold Mine

The lucky shot gold mine first began operations in the 1920’s and continued operations in to the 1940’s. With 8,700 acres this mine covers a large portion of the Willow Creek Mining District. E&H Power Systems DBA Powertec Electric’s installation was in 2008 which included running a 4160v power cable up the mountain to supply power to various mining equipment located in the mine portal. 480v generators were installed with various transforms to supply power to mill equipment and the man camp. We worked with owners, engineers and helicopter pilots to plan and execute this industrial electrical installation.
